At Bushcat Safaris, we believe that no two hunters are the same, which is why no two safaris should be either. Based in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, we specialise in authentic, tailor-made hunting experiences that showcase the incredible diversity of Southern Africa. To ensure every guest receives our full attention, we intentionally take only a handful of safaris each season.

Every hunt is personally outfitted and guided by owner Warren Venter, alongside his good friend and PH Evert Bezuidenhout. From your arrival to your departure, you’ll hunt with us, sharing not only the pursuit of exceptional game but also the stories, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments that make Africa so special. We are a family orientated outfit and families are always welcome.

Our hunting concessions stretch from the rugged high mountains and open Karoo plains to the thick coastal valleys of the Eastern Cape, offering an incredible variety of terrain and species. Guests can pursue everything from majestic kudu, mountain reedbuck, springbuck, and buffalo to one of Africa’s most sought-after trophies—the elusive blue duiker hidden within the dense coastal forests. With the Indian Ocean on our doorstep, we also offer world-class deep-sea fishing and cast-and-blast adventures for those wanting to experience even more of Africa.
